Three Occasions to Use a Tulip Vase
October 12, 2008 on 7:29 pm | By | In bluefreesky.com | Three Occasions to Use a Tulip VaseGiving the gift of flowers entails more than just presenting the bouquet. It means choosing the right vase to showcase the beautiful blooms. That is why a tulip vase is just about perfect. Its shape is great for displaying flowers to their best advantage. And the best part? It’s named after a flower too!
We have an eclectic selection of vases that are perfect for every occasion whether it is for a home décor item or for crafting purposes. These vases could also be used for small businesses like florists. It is perhaps our tulip vase that is one of the most popular for giving as a gift. It is not an everyday shape like a circle or square so there is a higher appeal factor for its unique figure.
Think about the flower we all call a tulip. What is the first thing that pops into your head? If you are like most people, you are probably thinking about the Netherlands. After all, there seems to be an abundant amount of tulips grown there. We’ve seen television shows and pictures in print with field after field of tulips growing around those quaint-looking windmills. Don’t think about where the tulip comes from but rather its shape.
Sometimes known as a tumbler or trumpet case, a tulip vase is reminiscent of its namesake. It has a solid base in which to sit on any flat surface for support. The body of the vase gradually rounds out, like the shape of a full-bodied person. It gradually tapers off and the rim of the vase has the look of a newly opened tulip with its tips unfurled. The contour of this vase is what makes it an attractive item in our collection of vases for sale.
The tulip vase is a great choice to display flowers with signature blooms. Take sunflowers or star-gazer lilies for instance. They both have distinctive flowers. Because these flowers are so unique, they need a vase that is equally comparable. The tulip vase definitely fits the bill. Several flowers would also be equally attractive showcased in one of our vases. Gerber daisies, roses, lilacs and zinnias are just a few examples.
Just take into account the shape of the flower. Does the flower look good displayed by all on its own or does it look better in a crowd? The flowers and what they are used for can usually dictate which of our tulip-shaped vases would be the best. There are a number of occasions in which to use a tulip vase.
1. Mother’s Day bouquet – Many Mother’s Day bouquets these days run the gamut from roses to carnations to lilies. All three of these kinds of flowers would look good displayed in a tulip vase. By choosing one of our vases, you can be sure that these flowers will be presented in the best possible way.
2. Weddings – Whether decorating in flowers for the church, the altar or even the reception area, any floral display used in the wedding décor just screams “tulip vase.” After all, these vases were made to properly show off the best blooms around.
3. Gift-giving occasions – Birthdays, anniversaries or those “just because” moments always can use some beautiful flowers to liven up the festivities. By using one of the many vases in our collection, you can be guaranteed that not only will the recipient love their gift of flowers but what houses the blooms.
