  • I want to start my own PC manufacturing business but all the websites I visit about wholesale PC components demand a VAT number to place orders or see prices. How is a business like mine meant to start up with a VAT number whenever I need huge revenue to get a VAT number (catch 22).

    Does anyone know an online store that sells wholesale to the general public?

    Alternatively, does anyone know the regular wholesale price of Windows Vista Home Premium - just for comparison, to see if it's worth it?

  • Unless you are really moving volume, save the VAT stuff. Use www.tigerdirect.com and www.newegg.com, www.crucial.com
    Also, have you considered partnering with an existing VAT holder ?
