German language ear and vocab training by listening to current events.
I'm learning German and I'd like to find a subscription service that
will deliver to me periodicals or other German written materials with
a audio CD of a German speaker reading the material. Ideally there
would also be some amount of translation or context. I've seen this
service on the web before, I found it via Google, so I know it exists.
I just can't seem to find it a second time. I'm thinking of a very
specific site. You subscribe, they send you materials and audio CDs
monthly that help you develop your German comprehension. The reader
reads at a normal pace with precise pronunciation.Could this be the site you are thinking of?

If this is not the site you remember, could you provide any additional
information to help in this search. Thanks.
Looking forward to hearing your views.
