Enemy turned into a small dog in dream, what does it mean?

  • In my dream, I asked to step outside with someone Im not very trusting of, he had then said he had slept with my now girlfriend while we were together, I then punched him in the face and he fell to the ground. I got ontop of him and punched him in the head till his eyes were swollen, all of a sudden he turned into a small dog, I think a chiwawa, then I got up and watch the dog stagger and laydown, and passout. There was also what looked like a random larger dog paw, but just the paw, not attached to another dog, almost looked like a lucky rabbits foot. At this point I woke up. Any idea what this could mean?

  • First, I'd have to know a lot more about you...how you felt about the guy you fought, your gf, your feelings about fighting, dogs...many things that would be too personal to post on a forum like this, However, I'll ask some questions that might lead you to the answer-it is YOUR dream, after all!

You say you don't trust this person, and even call him "enemy". But did you really want to fight him? Were you afraid of hurting him, or being hurt?

The remarkable part of the dream-the enemy transforming into a small dog, had one immediate result-it stopped the fight! But, it still retained the injuries you inflicted. So, I'm guessing, it wasn't compassion that made you stop.

Logically, you wouldn't want to be known as someone who beats little animals senseless (another reason for stopping the fight). Were you afraid of losing? How much harm had he done to you?

Ultimately, only you can find the true meaning of this dream. Dogs are usually thought of as friendly animals, but different people have different feelings. There's no one meaning for "dog" in dream language!

I'd look at feelings about the person whom you saw as your enemy, and any desire to stop the fight, as a place to start the analysis. Because it's quite clear, as to why you started the fight-not nearly so, as to why it stopped!

  • Dreams are just your brain being active even though the rest of you isn't. You tend to dream while your brain processes the days activities and thoughts and stores them more effectively (this is why it's said that it's best to "sleep on it"). So this is some sort of culmination of your thoughts that you may not have even been conscious of during the day (but maybe you were). Basically this is how you're thinking about this person you don't trust - maybe something in you suspects him of doing something terrible like sleeping with your girlfriend, but you also feel like he is a puny little dog and you're the big dog (or however you may interpret that lol). Dreams can give you some insight about how YOU feel, but the meaning doesn't go much deeper than that, unless you believe in the supernatural, in which case, you're on your own, buddy! Ask whichever supernatural being you believe in I guess. :)

  • You may be suspicious of him toward your girlfriend and your subconsious is telling you that you need to confront him with this to see if it is in fact reality.

That or you hate small dogs.

  • first thing i thought of, you do not see your enemy as a threat (seeing him as a SMALL dog). the over sized paw probably means that that particular issue bothers you.

  • maybe it means your dog or a very friendly dog that you know will out of the blue will completely turn on you

  • a dog in a dream is a dream about friendship, this could mean somebody you think is an enemy is really a friend or is a friendly person. (or vise versa) dreams are complicated.
maybe you have accused somebody of doing something wrong and they really didn't do it.

only the person having the dream armed with the right facts can figure it out.

  • I have seen this in many studies I conducted at Yale University. You are having erotic fantasies toward your so-called "enemy". This usually signifies that you are in fact a homosexual. To eliminate the dreams from reoccurring, I might suggest you have sex with another man.

  • i hope she didnt put a curse/spell on you
buy a chiwawa and give it to your girlfriend suprise her and watch her facial expressions very close
as for your best friend- your dream tell me that your 1 of 3 things...
    u dont trust him
u r a jealous person if u cannot find a reason not to trust him
or your in love with this girl and feel in youe sub conscious mind that your best friend is a threat to your relationship with this chick

  • you think he's a ******.

  • it means your bisexual

  • Dude the same thing happened in one of my dreams this thing I was fighting turned into a wee wah (chihuahua). It could just possibly be that seeing this person so helpless made ur mind think of something small and frail.
