  • she is a female poodle, 6 month old.

  • Take her out every hour on the hour.

  • Make sure to clean the areas your puppy has been going in the house with a warm water and vinegar solution to make sure you get all remains of her poop and pee, cause puppies will keep going if they smell it inside the house- proper cleanup is very important.

Get a crate, its a life saver- i have lost some many things to my now 10 month old puppy when she wasn't crated- she likes it, its her space

Take her out every 2 hours- consistency is key unless you have a sliding door and you can purchase a doggie door- that was very helpful too in my training

good luck- it can get better

  • I used the potty training article on this site. It worked for me.

  • Crate training is the best way to housebreak a dog. Here are some sites that will help:

    http://www.crate-training.com
    http://www.cuhumane.org/topics/crate.htm...
    http://www.inch.com/~dogs/cratetraining....

Remember, patience and persistence are key to potty training. Good luck!
