How-to: Upgrade httpd, PHP, and MySQL all in one shot
January 9, 2009 on 3:55 pm | By | In bluefreesky.com | How-to: Upgrade httpd, PHP, and MySQL all in one shotIn any case, I've decided to create a 'yum' repo on my site so that anyone who wants to can easily keep their server up to date with the newest releases of httpd, PHP, and MySQL without compiling from source or breaking any dependencies.
As with all of my releases, these are aimed at the RHEL/CentOS 4 crowd and are used on every one of my forums.

UPDATE (3/17/2007): I'm now providing 64-bit binaries as well as the 32-bit from before.
This should help a ton of people out. Hope you can handle the bandwidth if it gets popular. ;)
I've been getting a decent amount of traffic recently, much of which is people downloading the binaries & source rpms I've been providing. I'm pretty sure that it'll be OK (this isn't shared hosting, it's a box at The Planet). If not, I'll move the files off to a different server and set it up as a subdomain.
