  • Last year when I passed my exams I felt so happy that I went as far as dipping my hands in the pocket when entering the office. And the other mistake that I did was to say â ˜good morning⠦⠦how are youâ ¦.⠦⠦⠙ to the receptionist and the messenger. I was surprised that instead of answering me they shouted ⠘⠦..hey you! remove the hands from your pockets⠦⠦⠦..are you a boss that you should talk whilst your hands are in the pocket?â ™ when I asked them I learnt that they were of the following views: -

    â ¢ That it is only the managing directors, financial controllers, general managers etc. that have the powers to talk, greet whilst their hands are in the pockets.
    â ¢ They made it clear that they wanted young people like me to work hard and become bosses one day and not feel like I have reached where I wanted to be.
    â ¢ That a young man like me is not supposed to do that because it will make me
    o fail to achieve my plans
    o not excel in my studies,
    o not work hard
    o not be promoted.

    Now just because of that one mistake they started telling everybody that I am selfish, boastful and this will take me nowhere. And to date I am still suffering the consequences of what I did that day.

    Do I deserve all this?
